Bloodmoon | Ein opulentes Mahl, das uns Silvetone mit seinem Debutalbum beschert; der 9-Gänger hat es in sich. Fast zu schade ist es alle seine musikalischen Speisen auf einmal zu geniessen. Es braucht etwas Zeit dazu und Appetit auf die besonderen Genüsse, die Bereitschaft sich einzulassen auf seine ganz eigene Interpretation der Kulinarik. Sie ist würzig, die Kost, die uns auf Bloodmoon serviert wird - und abwechslungsreich. Vom nachdenklichen Opener „War With Us Twain“ über Tanzbares wie „Is These Here A Therapy“, nachgefragt von Maryline herself, bis zum Titel „In The Air“ dessen Text von Franz Hohler ins Englische übersetzt ist, spannt sich ein weiter Bogen. Hier ist einiges vom Groove der Neunziger vorhanden, selbst die Achtziger machen sich dezent bemerkbar, doch wenn man genau hinhört, ist es vor allem die Gegenwart die unmittelbar präsent ist. So oder so, es sind die vielen Überraschungsmomente, die den Tracks aus Bloodmoon ihren einzigartigen Stempel aufdrücken. Pegel hoch für Silvetone!

And the lyrics, to leave em the escort, the dramaturgy, until at last compositionally combination to an organic acoustics. And what does that mean? Is it pop? Maybe experimental pop? Spoken word? Bloodmoon | An opulent meal, which Silvetone brings us with his debut album; the 9-player has it all. It's almost a pity to enjoy all his musical food at once. It takes some time and appetite for the special pleasures, the willingness to get involved in his very own interpretation of the culinary art. It's spicy, the menue platter that's served on Bloodmoon - and varied. From the thoughtful opener "War With Us Twain" to danceable songs like "Is These Here A Therapy", demanded by Maryline herself, to the final title "In The Air", the story goes by. There's a lot of the groove of the nineties, even the eighties are discreetly noticeable, but if you listen carefully, it's above all the present time that is immediately present. Either way, it's the many surprises that set the tracks of Bloodmoon their unique stamp. Level up for Silvetone!
