In The Air   Franz Hohler

I know it's the landing gear
that is extended
if it crunches under my seat and shakes
But still, I don't like this crunching and trembling

I know that the quieter of the engines
no failure of the engines means
but only a quieter
But still, I don't like this quieter

I know it's a turbulence
when the plane begins to wobble
But still, I don't like it when the plane wobbles

When it rings in the speaker,
I know that now the stewardess says
one should buckle up
But still, I don't like this ringing

I know that the pilot can also orientate
when he flies through the thickest clouds
But still, I don't like when he flies
through the thickest clouds

I know that flying is possible
But still, I don't believe it when I'm up
